Welcome to Swastha!
Hello & welcome to the site,
I hope you will find it interesting, informative & have everything you are looking for! Take a few moments to have a look around, check out my social media pages or contact me directly if you need help or have questions.
Now that you have found me you might also be wondering what ‘Swastha’ means – well, it is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘to be fully established & rooted in oneself’.
Translating it into what it means to me, simply put, it’s all about helping people to find their personal state of balanced optimal health, whatever that might look like for them. We are all unique individuals living different lives so what’s right for one person doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right for another – finding your personal balance is the key to the health & wellbeing of body & mind, in both the short & long term.
How do we find this elusive balance? Well I am a big believer in the power of holistic & natural therapies for healthy living & to keep us well & able to manage the many demands of modern day living.
On the ‘About’ page you will see that I have a mix of traditional scientific & academic qualifications, alongside training in many natural health & healing methods, as well as other complimentary disciplines. I will share a bit more about my journey in the next article & how I came to be qualified in Ayurveda & Ayurvedic Massage, Yoga, Restorative Yoga & Yoga Therapy, as well as Mindfulness Meditation.
Each are important practices & qualifications in their own right but when brought together they augment & strengthen each other & together they form a very powerful combination, a unique set of tools & whole treatment method which is tailored for each person.
The Swastha logo is designed to reflect all of these elements while ultimately adding up to one healthy whole - you - as the individual in your happy, balanced state of wellbeing.
Wherever you find yourself today if your goal is to feel good and live better then you have come to the right place!
